3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data only for legitimate service purposes, including to:
- verify your identity with OTP-based login;
- create, send, store, and share invoices between businesses and customers;
- review business registration details and support business setup;
- support QR, barcode, OTP, notification, and related app workflows;
- cache or sync inventory and related records so the app remains useful in normal business operations;
- troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and improve app performance;
- personalise language and app experience settings;
- communicate service notices, updates, security alerts, and support responses;
- comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect users, partners, and the service;
- display advertising on eligible screens where applicable.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on valid legal bases such as consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as service security and fraud prevention, and any other basis permitted by law.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data as part of Bazaar Bills’ normal product operation. We may share information only in limited circumstances reasonably necessary to operate the service:
- Between users of the service: when a business sends an invoice to a customer, relevant account and invoice details are shared as part of that workflow.
- Service providers and infrastructure partners: hosting, messaging, authentication, analytics, cloud, support, security, and similar providers may process data on our behalf.
- Advertising or platform partners: limited technical data may be processed by advertising or distribution partners where those tools are used.
- Legal and safety disclosures: data may be disclosed where required by law, court order, regulation, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the service.
- Business transfers: data may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures intended to protect personal information.
- data in transit may be protected using standard encrypted connections;
- access to backend systems and stored information is restricted to authorised services and personnel;
- diagnostic and security monitoring may be used to protect the platform;
- however, no system can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect their devices and account access.
Your information may also be processed in countries other than your own where partners, infrastructure providers, or support operations are located. Where required, appropriate safeguards may be used for such transfers.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
- account data may be retained for the life of the account or as needed to support the service;
- invoice and related business records may be retained because they are part of the core product workflow and may remain relevant to the other party involved;
- technical identifiers such as notification tokens may be refreshed, replaced, or deleted depending on account status and device usage;
- if account deletion or deactivation is requested, some records may still need to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, operational, security, anti-fraud, dispute-resolution, or invoice-record purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access a copy of certain personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update your details;
- request deletion or deactivation of your account, subject to record-retention limits;
- request export or portability of certain information where applicable;
- manage permissions, notifications, and some settings directly in your device or app;
- object to or manage personalised advertising through device-level ad settings where supported.
8. Children’s Privacy
Bazaar Bills is intended for business and general customer use and is not intended for children to use independently where consent is required by law.
If you believe personal information from a child has been provided improperly, please contact the official Bazaar Bills support channel so the matter can be reviewed.
9. Advertising
Bazaar Bills may display advertising on certain screens and may use third-party ad or platform tools where applicable.
- advertising tools may use limited technical identifiers according to their own platform rules and policies;
- we do not describe sharing customer names, phone numbers, or invoice content with advertisers for normal advertising purposes on this page;
- users may be able to manage personalised advertising through device settings where supported.
10. Third-Party Services
Bazaar Bills may integrate with third-party services such as hosting providers, messaging services, authentication tools, analytics tools, app distribution platforms, payment apps opened by user action, cloud infrastructure, or similar service providers.
Those third parties may have their own privacy practices, and users should review their policies where relevant.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we may revise the effective date and publish the updated version on the website or within the app.
